According to a HomeLight survey, 70% of homebuyers said they regretted something about their homebuying experience. Around 22% said they felt they overpaid for their home and 22% did not realize how much home maintenance was required.

“At least 79% of buyer respondents in Phoenix and several California markets said they had at least one regret. In Phoenix, buyers said they wished their home was in a more central location. In the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento, Calif., buyers were more likely to say they underestimated how much maintenance a home required,” said Realtor Magazine.
